Comprises two zones:
> The main cliff, W facing; 'lightly to abominably overhanging' F4c - F8c. Once used for national competition. Route lengths: 20m average, but upper pitches offer additional 20m (marked as (2) in the log). Some worthwhile routes at/below 6c but most of the action goes at 7 and above.
> The quarry, S facing; moderate climbing from F4c - F6c. A popular crag in these parts. Route lengths 10m - 30m, average 15m. Best climbing on the central pocketed wall, behind the rustic bench.
Travelling S from Labroquère, Look for roadsigns saying 'Falaise d'Escalade, Troubat'; follow these through Sarp and Gembrie, climbing finally by a broken tarmac road.
The main cliff is 1st found to LHS; the quarry is found 300m further along and up the track, also to LHS.
Easy access, no restrictions. NB. Domestic goats roam freely and can occasion rockfall without warning, especially at the quarry. Survey upper slopes from the carpark; helmets advised.
