Upper House. Crag © Jamie Skelton
Upper House crag has less routes than the Lower but offers longer lines of better quality, the best being in the mid to low extremes. It sits proudly near the top of the hill and can easily be seen from the ferry port. The rock is generally pretty sound and the routes are usually well protected, but due to the lack of traffic there is some flaky rock in places.
From the Ferry walk along the track past the cafe to the postbox on the right hand side. Take the right turning next to this leading up the hill, pass through some gates and continue steeply up the field on the left side of the forest. Continue over a stile and you should arrive at the crags In about 20 minutes.
