Crag features

A good off the beaten track crag, 2 sectors. The Penon de Pio has some good looking 2 pitch routes close to the car (about 5-10m uphill) Best in the 6a and up range, park in the rambla(dry river bed). Recently equipped with 10mm bolts. A nice outlook over the church and motorway. If you want more have a look at the route on the roof of the underpass!. Solana del Castellon is a couple of Kms to the left (looking at Penon de Pio)take the left before the underpass follow this alongside the motorway then cross the rambla towards Fuente del Gato, turn up a dirt track that leads to various houses park at the highest point and scramble up the hillside. At present there are only 4 routes but there is scope for alot more. A good find for people stuck between the Costa Blanca and El chorro or passing through.
