The section of the Water of Nevis below and just down the valley from Whale Rock is mostly gorged, and has a pool halfway along it's length that has several short rock faces rising from it. Care must be taken when deep water soloing here as not all of the pool is safe to land in, and touching the bottom of even it's deepest parts is a possibility in lower water levels.
Park in the second to last car park before the end of the Glen Nevis road, and cross the footbridge over the river. Turn left and follow the river for around 250 meters to the first of three scots pines. The pool lies below.
