A brilliant line which breaks left over the steep overhang where the original line heads out right towards the gully. Start up the arete to a cunning position where it is possible to place cams on the right. Make a tough move above to reach the break. Climb leftwards to small cam slots and a final couple of pulls to a tricky mantel shelf top out.
