Crag features
A large selection of climbs in all grades ranging in quality from terrible to excellent. More than enough for a few return visits. Most routes are well bolted (which is just as well given the rock quality on some of them!) Some routes have painted names at the start but these are mostly small & faded.The crag has a large number of decent quality easy routes with user-friendly bolting, which means that the main sectors can get very crowded on sunny spring & autumn weekends.
Approach notes
Cheap parking on the approach road to the Zellersee campsite. All climbs can be reached from the road running behind the campsite by small paths branching towards the rock faces.
Restricted Access
According to the (2014) guidebook, upper pitches / extensions on the Grande Face are bird banned from 15th February to 30th June. Notices at the crag however say that this applies to upper pitches / extensions in all sectors. Probably safest to assume the notices at the crag are correct.
