Nick Dixon has made the first ascent of A Thousand Setting Suns at Nesscliffe in Shropshire with a proposed grade of E9 7a. If confirmed this will make it the crag's hardest route.

Nick is no stranger to hard trad routes and has already made numerous first ascents at Nesscliffe up to E8. He has also repeated the notorious Indian Face E9 6c and made the first ascent of Face Mecca E9 6c, both at Cloggy in Snowdonia, North Wales.
