GB Climbing's Molly Thompson-Smith has qualified in 5th place for today's European Championship Lead finals, which will be streamed on BBC Sport at 15:45 in addition to Russia Climbing's IFSC YouTube livestream. Saturday's Combined finals - where two Olympic spots (one per sex) are up for grabs - will also be streamed by the BBC.
Molly placed 25th in Speed and 14th in Boulder, while Will finished 14th and 15th in the respective events. In this morning's Lead semi-finals, Will placed 12th. Both Molly and Will are competing in Friday's Combined qualifier, where they will be aiming to make finals and clinch the last two tickets to Tokyo.
Russia's Ekaterina Barashchuk and Danyil Boldyrev of Ukraine took the Speed titles over the weekend and Olympic-qualified athlete Iuliia Kaplina set a new women's Speed record of 6.964 seconds. The Boulder finals took place on Monday evening, where Slovenia's Jernej Kruder and Viktoriia Meshkova of Russia won Gold.
