After a year's hiatus due to you-know-what, the Climbing Works International Festival (CWIF) returned with a bang yesterday as two qualification sessions took place, along with one 'party round.' Top competition and rock climbers such as Alex Megos, Will Bosi, Jim Pope, Jenya Kazbekova, Holly Toothill, and Michaela Tracy were in attendance, as were many others.
In the men's competition, Will Bosi flashed all 30 problems to win the round, although sadly can't compete in the next round. He was closely followed by Jim Pope, who only fell once, and Hamish McArthur - who won the Junior World Championships last year.
In the women's, 2019 British Bouldering Champion Holly Toothill qualified in first place, with Ukrainian competitor Jenya Kazbekova close behind. Lucy Garlick completed the top three.
Today's live streams take place at 11:45 and 18:00 for the semi-finals and finals respectively.
