For SS18, Hanwag has introduced a new and improved version of its bestselling and award-winning Tatra boots, the new Tatra II GTX. To celebrate their launch, Hanwag has teamed up with UKC to offer two readers the chance to win a pair.

The updated Tatra II GTX features several updates including a new, more cushioned footbed, improved construction with flex zones around the ankle and a new lacing system with robust cast metal lace hooks and a locking lace clamp that allows the wearer to enjoy separate lacing zones around the foot and the ankle. The new boot retains Hanwag's unique Vibram AW Integral sole which is lightweight yet extremely grippy for outstanding traction on tricky terrain. The boot also features a high-quality nubuck upper and is available with either a Gore-Tex or hypoallergenic leather lining.

All Hanwag footwear is made in Europe and combines traditional, highly prized construction techniques with new innovations. The Tatra II GTX is a perfect example of Hanwag's hand-crafted approach. Each pair of boots is made from 25 carefully selected materials, 110 individual pieces and requiring 106 production steps before being presented to the consumer.
