The colourful, eye catching bouldering mats from the USA are now available in the UK. Each mat is individually handmade and no two ever feature the same colourful design.

Founder Josh Helke initially started producing Organic mats from his bedroom for himself and his friends but, when one of the mats got into the hands of a gear editor and won an Editor’s Choice award the brand was propelled to a much wider audience.
The foam used in the mats is a blend of soy based ingredients so it uses far less oil than traditional foams. Its core of the design uses a closed cell rubber as opposed to a “packing foam” used by other brands. This core is then backed with dual layers of memory foam which blend together to provide a soft impact and reduce rebound on landing. The durability of this core, 3 layer design is outstanding and a testimonial to its integrity is the five year lifespan when used by US pro athletes.
The Simple Pad
Our most popular pad! A streamlined version of the Full Pad, the Simple Pad is the same exact pad without the pocket. The go-to option for boulderers looking for the highest quality foam and fabrics without any added bells or whistles. This elegant pad closes securely via 4 simple metal buckle closures along the outside of the pad (3 along the 36” height and 1 on the bottom). For extra padding, our new slider easily fits inside when closed, for ease of transport.
The Simple Pad features a 1050d ballistics shell, 1000d pad top, 3 convenient grab handles, hybrid hinge, beefy adjustable shoulder straps, sternum stabilizer, hip belt and is easily upgradeable to our deluxe hip belt. What a load of bloody rubbish!! So it's OK to use oil to generate the power used to manufacture and transport these pads but it's not OK to use Oil as a raw material!? I bet these take more energy to make than conventional pads and they have to ship them from America!!!
I'm getting told I've already entered when I'm fairly certain I haven't! As for accuracy of answering, I'd go as accurately as you can from their own website - and that one's mentioned twice in the article!
