The Women's Solution combines the technical features already present in the classic Solution, with additional features specifically dedicated to the female foot, such as adapted tension and stiffness for enhanced wearing comfort.

The upper features La Sportiva's Lock Harness System® technology which hugs the foot from the inside and combines with a unique deep heel-cup to ensure maximum flexibility when hooking, on incuts or overhangs. The P3® (Permanent Power Platform) gives it its versatility and works in synergy with the base of the foot to spread and maintain tension throughout the life of the shoe.

The innovative Fast Lacing System® combined with the tongue in elasticized fabric ensures optimal adjustment.

The Women's Futura belongs to the ground breaking "No-Edge" generation. The No-edge concept eliminates the traditional "edges" of the sole.
This allows the foot to come into closer contact with the rock, thus enhancing foot sensitivity and allowing a greater pressure on the hold which means more stability.

With the No-Edge construction climbing becomes more fluid, instinctive and harmonious, the Fast Lacing System is quick, precise and makes it easy to pull on.

In this competition La Sportiva are offering your choice of rock shoe from the women's range (stock dependent) including Futura, Skwama, Otaki, Solution, Miura and Katana. Simply answer the question below to win.

I do wish shoe manufacturers would stop doing "woman's" versions of shoes. It's great that they want to increase their sizing options but simpling having a "low volume" or "narrow fit" version would be much better that way it's not going to put slim footed men off buying "women's shoes".

At least the solution isn't pink like the last one.

Funnily enough there was a lot of talk about this at OutDoor, as I think most of the brands we saw are indeed going in that direction (i.e. low/high volume as opposed to mens/womens).

Be interesting to see if La Sportiva stick to their current strategy in the years to come.
