A man from the North east was rescued by helicopter from Logie head on Saturday. It is understood that he fell and suffered leg injuries. More info. BBC News Report
I think what he means is there are no easy points of access as the coast near there is all cliffs. Sounds like a typical climbing accident that invlved a leg injury, preventing the person from being able to walk out. Could happen on many cliffs, all over the country. And not long after Mike C's close shave there either.
Yeah but the question is does anyone have any idea who it was? I know a lot of climbers of that sort of age in the area so would be interested to know more. Some how just phoning round your mates to ask if it was them who had an accident doesn't seem right and it can take quite a while for the news to spread if its a mate you don't see very often. Luckly sounds like they weren't too badly injured though.
