Get Involved - Stanage and Vixen Tor

© Ian Pourier
On the forums, a hotbed of climbing activism, Trudi Newman and Julian Materna, BMC Access Volunteers for the Peak Area organised a successful day of access work at the Stanage Plantation Boulders on Sunday, October 9th.

There is another meet this Sunday, October 16th, Trudi Newman writes, "Plantation Car Park at noon. Bring buckets and rucksacks (this seemed the least painful way of moving the gritstone)."

The FREE Vixen Tor campaign is going well. Haggis Harris has organised a petition you can sign that should be available at your local climbing wall or you can download the petition here and mail to Haggis.

It was Sunday, but thanks for the plug anyway! More of the same this coming Sunday, 16/10 - Plantation Car Park at noon. Bring buckets and rucksacks (this seemed the least painful way of moving the gritstone) Will bring more doughnuts and blue rubble sacks....

Thanks very much! However.... Are you having a bad day Mick? You've put *Saturday* the 16th too - it's also a Sunday! Have you got something special happening on Saturdays that's distracting you? LOL!!
