Shauna Coxsey - Raindogs at 16

© John Cooke
Shauna Coxsey (16) has redpointed the classic F8a Raindogs at Malham.

"It took her 3-4 days over this year and last. She got in on her second redpoint of the day, making it look all rather too easy!" commented Andy Farnell.

Shauna recently had a very productive trip to Spain (UKC News) climbing F8a very quickly.

Shauna's ascent of Raindogs is perhaps only the 5th by a woman. Raindogs is a classic power-endurance route and was recently onsighted by visiting American Chris Sharma.

Late last year Kitty Wallace became the youngest female Brit to climb F8a with an ascent of Daniboy (UKC News) aged just 14.
