© Adam Ondra
The French climber Kevin Aglae has climbed F9a at the age of 18.

Kevin has made the first ascent of the extension to the F8c+ route Alien Carnage. Alien Carnage has seen several repeats since its first ascent including an ascent at the unbelievably young age of 12 by Adam Ondra (see photo).

Kevin Aglae climbed his first F8c at the age of 16.

Castillon is a limestone cliff, 15 km north of Menton and Monte-Carlo, near the French-Italian border. It has a spread of routes from the F6b range up to F9a and is covered by the L'escalade dans les Alpes-Maritimes guidebook.
