8C+ First Ascent for Dave Graham
Dave Graham has made the first ascent of Celestite, 8C+, in Val Bavona, Switzerland.
Dave Graham has onsighted Le jour 19 aout, 8b+, at Céüse. This was the 2nd onsight for Dave who, not surprisingly, liked it a lot: "...world class route, potentially The best route in the world I have climbed for the grade! a beautiful blue sheer wave of rock with incredible structure! The route is an adventure, almost 80m long, and took almost 2 hours to complete, exhausting!". "It was fuckin crazy, and I think it was more 8b+, as it was wayyyyy harder then radote or l'ami... So syked!"It seems he's pretty much back to full route climbing strength, which is great news! Now he's heading to Verbier. I'm guessing to do some bouldering.
