Blocfest Storms The Castle - Results

The Blocfest team upped the ante for the second indoor boulder festival / competition of the 2012/2013 season at the Castle Climbing Centre on Saturday 8th December.

An action packed day for everyone included a massive off width (so big even the Wideboyz would have been confused!), the Traverse of Terror and the Blocfest pull-up challenge. But of course the main attraction was the usual array of 1st class boulder problems set around the various areas at the Castle. There was an awesome atmosphere with live mixes from the resident Blocfest DJs as the day headed towards a very spectacular evening finals. Fluro yellow Holdz for the men and of course Pink courtesy of Volx for the ladies.

Besides all the climbing, Evolv , Boreal and Rock On were present with a wide selection of their latest shoes and products for everyone to try and test along with the Nourish Me Nowladies who as always were on hand to make sure everyone got their much needed free recovery drink when they had finished climbing.

A massive thanks to all the U16s, seniors, veterans, coaches and parents who helped make another great day in the climbing calendar. A big well done to all those participants who made the podiums and to take you through the day here is a photo journey and video.
