Legendary American climber Fred Beckey is set to star in a feature-length film about his rebellious dirtbag lifestyle. A prolific mountaineer in the 1950s and 60s with first ascents to his name all around the world, Fred continues to pursue his passion for climbing today - at the ripe old age of 93 - after 80 years of eschewing fame, sponsorship and family life.

The film - due for release in 2017 - has been part crowdfunded and will feature over a decade of footage documenting Fred's life. Watch the extended trailer below:
