After training hard and structured for the first time in his life and deep water soloing on Mallorca, Chris Sharma has been back at Oliana for a few days.

He writes on Instagram that he found surprisingly good conditions and super good vibes...and that it was At first a route that I underestimated, it turned into an epic battle that got the best of me.

So refreshing to come back this season with an open mind and no expectations other than to just enjoy climbing. Maybe it was in my head or maybe it was all the training...

It will be interesting to see what Chris can do about the several really hard projects that remain unclimbed.
