Seven books by British authors and publishers have made the long list in the prestigious Banff Mountain Book Competition, which is part of the annual Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival in Alberta, Canada.
The 2019 jury consists of Helen Mort, Paul McSorley and Nandini Purandare.
