Reset Part 2 - Reopening the Walls with the ABCVideo

© UKC

By this time tomorrow, climbers in England will be back in indoor walls, albeit in very different circumstances to when they left. In this film below, we look at how the Association of British Climbing Walls were able to provide advice, strategies, and solidarity to climbing walls. We also look at the specific example of Awesome Walls in Sheffield and what they are doing to keep customers and staff safe.

The Association of British Climbing Walls (ABC) has been working with their member climbing walls since the beginning of lockdown on reopening guidelines – a strategy based on three principles:

• Hygiene
• Capacity Management
• Social Distancing

You can help support UK Climbing Walls by buying a Climbing the Walls t-shirt from the ABC. All proceeds will go towards helping walls reopen and making them safer for both customers and staff.
