Yorkshire bolt fund update

The Yorkshire Bolt Fund has spent just under £2,000 this year re-equipping routes on Yorkshire limestone. Many of these are modern day classics which had become neglected due to the dangerous state of the previous bolts. Routes such as Biological Need at Kilnsey have been enjoyed by many this summer, subsequent to its re-equipping and cleaning. Even more obscure climbs, such as lines around Backwater and Karst Buttresses at Gordale have recently been re-bolted. Thanks are in order to all the volunteers who have put in many hours of hard work raising funds, drilling and glueing. Also, to Dave Musgrove for looking after the kitty. Now, if you don't mind just finishing Supercool off...

You can still donate money to the Yorkshire Bolt Fund, email news@ukclimbing.com for details.
