American, Lisa Rands has repeated Robin Barker's Stanage route, Shine On (E7 6c). Originally graded E8, a fall from the crux locks on poor pockets, had previously been tested and the grade went down a peg. It's not known whether Lisa soloed the route and whether she had any spotters or used pads, but it's unlikely that the question "Yes, but what's she done on Stanage?" will be asked. Together with her own repeat of White Lines and End of the Affair at Curbar and an ascent of Master's Edge by Airlie Anderson, this is just the fourth gritstone route of E7 and above to climbed by a woman. Impressive stuff.
