This Weekend's Deep Water Soloing Festival

© Mike Weeks
This weekend's Pembroke Deep Water Soloing Festival officially starts at 12.30pm on Saturday at Newton Head. However the serious climbers will be warming up in the St Govan's Head pub the night before.

Teams wishing to enter into the endurance comp should register at that time on site or by sending an email to info@x1sports.com

High tide and the speed competition are at 5pm. There are still a few places left if anyone wishes to enter. Again, email : info@x1sports.com

The BBQ and party will start at 9.pm, in a field between Pembroke and Stackpole. Camping and toilets are available at the party site. Alcohol and water are not available so please bring your own.

RockFax guide books (for sale) and printed topos (free) to the climbing site will be available on the day. People should also be aware that a documentary is being filmed and if you do not wish to be captured on camera then please make the crew aware of this in advance.

Anyone requiring further details should email us at (once again) info@x1sports.com
