If you followed Rich Mayfield and Mark Stevenson's Hard Rock Challenge this so-called summer you have a chance to meet Mark and Rich on Sunday 18th November at Kendal where they will be telling the story of their epic journey that saw them climb all 60 Hard Rock routes in 5 weeks (12.30pm in the Malt Room and entry is free).
Another event we would like to highlight is the The DMM Friday Night Special starting at 7.30 pm on Friday 16th, when John Cleare, George Smith and Alun Hughes will tell tall tales and show film clips of climbing in North Wales.
Kendal's famous (and infamous) festival party is on Saturday night (17th) at the Brewery Arts Centre. Tickets are £6 and you'd better get yours now.
There is just so much going on at Kendal we recommend that you check out the programme of films, talks, discussions and events at www.mountainfilm.co.uk

TICKETS TO KENDAL MOUNTAIN FESTIVALS:Are you a budding photo-journalist? We have two press-pass tickets to give away to the Kendal Mountain Festivals. But there is a catch. The two winners have to report back to UKClimbing.com on the Festivals, with photos. Email firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me what a good job you'll do.
