In July we ran a competition to find a climber to feature on the UKClimbing.com sponsored page in climbing:10 Keith Sharples' annual calendar.
The winner was Alastair Smith from Chester.
The five runner-up prizes went to Mike Pollitt - a committed traddie from Nottingham, Alex Mason - an aspiring 8a sport climber from Hull, Charlotte Kelly - a chalk-fiend from Glossop, Sophie White – another traddie from Sheffield and Catherine Raine – a new starter from Nottingham. Each will receive a copy of climbing:10
In August Keith and Al went over to Clwyd limestone in the hills above Llangollen and captured photos of Al on one of Craig Arthur's trad masterpiece routes, Digitron (E2 5c)...that will feature in this years climbing:10.
You can read an account of their day here.
