What's wrong with the youth of today. There's a distict lack of respect for what earlier generations of climbers have accomplished. The latest example is Japanese 15-year-old Toru Nakajima, who's been rampaging through the grit this summer, climbing really gnarly stuff inspite of less than perfect conditions. Everyone knows that's a big no, no! Lately, he's done Elm Street (E8) at Millstone and the project arête right of Simba's Pride at Burbage which he has named Black Out - at a proposed a grade of E9 6c. Ah, and he opted to solo them both... What do his parents say?
