8b+ OS and 8c+/9a FA's by Ondra

© UKC News
When it comes to Ondra this is really a "what else is new?" piece of news, but here we go. During one of his family roadtrips in northern Italy, Adam did a couple of hard FA's. First, at Cornalba, north of Bergamo, he climbed the 65m chipped (not by him) Vento nei Capelli, 8c+/9a, and then, at Masone near Lecco (not to be confused with Massone, Arco), a route he named Masoniamoci. In his 8a.nu scorecard, he comments: "8c+/9a (maybe 9a), possible 8B boulder on the start, then not more than 8a, very bouldery, but good line and rock though".
On the same day, he made a pure, as in no tickmarks, FA onsight of Camosci Emigranti, 8b+, at Passo della Presolana, which I presume isn't too far from Lecco either.
