While not running any immediate risk of becoming trade routes, Alexander Huber's hard multi-pitches on the west face of Die Drei Zinnen/Tre cime di Lavaredo in the Italian Dolomites, have seen some action lately. This time, Bavarian ace, Helmut "Heli" Kotter, first repeated Bellavista, originally ~8b+ or so, but now slightly easier after some holds have become bigger since the FA, and then, shortly after Hansjörg Auer, made the 3rd ascent of Pan Aroma, ~8c.
Heli is no stranger to difficult climbing. The 27 year old (28 on 22 July) from Rosenheim, has already done routes like Mongo, 9a, Die Erbe der Väter, 8c+, Reality check, 8c+, all at his "home crag", Schleier Wasserfall, and Andiamo, 8c+, at Allgäu, jst to name a few.
