Enzo does Condé de choc

© Lamiche archive

Enzo Oddo has made the 3rd ascent of Tony Lamiche's Condé de choc, 9a, at Entraygues, France. Enzo worked the route together with Gabri Moroni, who made the 2nd ascent the weekend before, and was really close to doing it at that time, but unfortunately he fell in the easier 2nd part. "Easier" by no means means easy, but the crux is the ~8A+ boulder crux right at the start. A dyno followed by an awkward swing for which Enzo had to find different beta, involving a micro razor, to be able to do.
