Norwegian young ace, Therese Johansen, has made the 2nd ascent of Bernd Zangerl's Propaganda, 8B, at Vingsand, pretty far north on the Norwegian, west coast. Thereby she joins the select few women who have bouldered 8B: Angela Payne, Anna Stöhr, Dorothea Karalus and... anyone else?
With a couple of 8A+'s and 10 or so 8A's, Therese certainly has the track record to back an 8B ascent up.
On her blog, Therese says she's unsure about the grade and that she finds it hard to believe she has actually done an 8B.
She does a couple of sequences differently compared to Bernd but whether this makes it easier is hard to say. It's no doubt her most difficult ascent yet, and considerably harder than The left hand of darkness and Steinbukken, the two 8A+'s she has repeated.
