Yuji Hirayama, Daniel Woods, James Pearson and Caroline Ciavaldini are in Borneo, in the high altitude Mount Kinabalu National Park to be precise. Almost 4000 meters above sea level, Daniel has made the first ascent of Tinipi, 9a+, while Yuji freed Pogulian Do Koduduo, a two pitch 100 meter line, where the 2nd pitch is a mighty 9a.

Tinipi

, meaning 'dream', was bolted by Yuji and freed by Daniel, while Pogulian Do Koduduo was a project Yuji had found already last year.

I also got a short report from James: In addition to Yuji and Daniels amazing routes, I also bolted and climbed an incredible 8c+ called Excalibur - one of the finest routes of my life.

Caroline also bolted and climbed a load of 8b's, including the second ascent of Alanga, a 120m, 3 pitch 8b arete from Yuji's last visit. I also managed to flash the 3rd ascent of Alanga just a day or too after her.
