Japanese climber Ako Shillitoe has been living in the UK for five years, and works at The Depotclimbing centre in Leeds. The route was sent after an early morning start (she had to be at work for 12:00), and the extra effort of getting out of bed saw her clipping the chains.
Lucy Mitchell, who is a member of the Irish climbing team, dispatched the route in around 4 or 5 days of effort.
Supercool is a gently overhanging wall of pristine limestone, technical and continuous, and features a crux that favours the tall, which Lucy and Ako are not!
