Nalle Hukkataival has updated his tick list on 27crags with a number of hard ascents.
Having worked his way through much of the hard stuff, Nalle is no focusing more on the unrepeated problems and on making first ascents.
One month ago, he made the first repeat of Oliphant's dawn, ~8B+, and the other day, it was time for another old test piece, Klem Loskot's All I am looking for is a smile, ~8B. Nalle describes it as a "long trav-in to a techy and fingery finish".
He also made the first ascents of Modified Limited Rampage and The Escapist, as well as a 2nd ascent of Dave Graham's Monkey business. All of these weigh in around 8B+, making it not such a bad week for the Finn.
Now, the South African leg of the perpetual climbing trip is over for this year, and the crew moves on to new adventures in Norway, Sweden and... it just keeps going.
