Cédric Lachat has made the 3rd ascent of Chris Sharma's Chaxi, 9a+, at Oliana, Spain.

The 45 meter route was first climbed by Sharma in 2011 and had so far only been repeated by Adam Ondra, who then went on to add an ~8B+ direct start which bumps the grade of the resulting route, Chaxi Raxi (video below), up to 9b. This route has yet to see a repeat.

"Adam Ondra, who then went on to add an ~8B direct start" Didn't Ondra say in an interview that it's a hard 8B+ boulder problem?

The First Ascent was by Adam too, done while working on the hard start, just for the fitness, Sharma sended it later, anyway congrats to Cédric, he's a very good all-arounder.
