Nina Caprez has made the second ascent of Nartanesi, 8c, a route at Cidtibi put up by Gabri Moroni shortly before Nina's ascent. And yes, you guessed it, it was also the first female ascent.

The crag as, according to Kairn (and Google translate) situated between Olimpos* and Geyik Bayiri in southern Turkey.
*If you start looking for "Olympos", all you'll find is a hotel in the small rural village of Kayaköy ~100km east of what your probably looking for.

So, anyway, Nina's, and Gabri's, ascents of this route sort of marks the end of this year's Petzl RocTrip which has taken the sponsored climbers and their groupies through five countries: Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia (F.Y.R), Greece and Turkey.

I sincerely hope they all had a great time enjoying excellent rock in sunny weather and I'm sure we'll hear more about it sooner rather than later.
In Sweden it's dark and generally miserable, thanks for asking.

Very well done I'm sure but it seems that poor Gabri is being short-changed here. becauseitsthere - isn't sponsored by anyone. No groupies following me around either!
