Jakob Schubert has flashed The Riverbed, ~8B, and made one session ascents of Mystic Stylez and From shallow waters to Riverbed, both ~8B+.
During the short break between the WC Asia mini tour and the WC final at Kranj, Jakob Schubert took the opportunity to climb outside or a couple of days at Magic Wood/Averstal in Switzerland.
After warming up and getting used to rock again by doing some easier stuff like La Danse, ~7C+, Côte du Szechuan, ~7C+ flash, Astronautenfieber, ~8A, and Massive Attack, ~8A/8A+ flash, on day one, he got down to some serious business the day after:
- Foxy Lady, 8A, FLASH
- Voigas, 8A+
- Riverbed, 8B, FLASH
- From shallow waters to Riverbed, 8B+
- Mystic Stylez, 8B+
Quite a productive weekend, wouldn't you say?
Here is Jakob repeating Daniel Woods' Mystic stylez, ~8B+, the sds to the classic Muttertag, ~8A.
Despite going into the WC competition season with a finger injury (sustained while flashing Nagual, ~8B) that wasn't fully healed, Jakob had had a great WC-season, and has already secured the title with one competition left.
