Daniel Woods climbs Lucid Dreaming, V15/8CVideo

In January this year, Daniel Woods made the second ascent of Paul Robinson's Lucid Dreaming, ~8C, at the Buttermilks, CA.

Paul initially gave the problem, which revolves around two extremely difficult single moves back to back, 8C+, but after giving it some thought, he later decided to call it 8C instead. No doubt, it's hard.

As the crux of the problem really plays to Daniel's specific strengths, powerful moves on tiny holds, it didn't come as much of a surprise he was the one who managed to repeat it.

After spending the whole year on rock, Daniel now feels he needs to get some serious training in to get back to full strength. He therefor decided to postpone his trip to Bishop until January.

For Daniel's take on a lot of things, also check out the videos below.

excellent! been waiting for this video since the ascent was announced. I never realised exactly how bad and sharp that undercling is before going to the micro-pinch.
