Barbara "Babsi" Zangerl has repeated Alexander Huber's Bellavista, 8b+ MP, on Cima Ovest di Lavaredo in the Italian Dolomites.

The ~500 meter route was first climbed free by Alex in July 2001. Originally 8c was suggested, but some holds have become better over time and now 8b+ is what's usually suggested. Bellavista has 10 pitches in total, with the 7th pitch, the big roof, being the most difficult by far (7b, 6c, 6a+, 7a+, 7b, 8b+, 8a, 7a, 6c, 6b).

Babsi's was the second female ascent after Sasha Digiulian who climbed it a couple of years ago.

I really enjoyed the time in the Dolomites. And i am super happy that i have finished my project "Bellavista" yesterday. It was a big day, reaching the summit at 2am. But it was so cool to stand on the top of west cime in the middle of the night in the shining moonlight.

Forced to more or less quit bouldering due to back problems, Babsi is now one of the most accomplished multi-pitch climbers in the world with ascents like Des Kaisers neue Kleider, Silbergeier, End of silence, Delicatessen, Hotel Supramonte and La Ramirole on her CV. She has also repeated sport routes as hard as 8c+.

How many women have bouldered 8B, sport climbed 8c+, trad climbed E9/10 8b/+ and done 8b+ multi-pitches?
