Griffin Whiteside is once again back in Fontainebleau, where he, as usual, keeps ticking off hard problems.

Griffin is once again back in Europe, or did he never leave? His base seems to be Helsinki, Finland, and at the moment, he his in Fontainebleau, France.

His hardest ascents so far this time include L'Arête de Boissy assis, ~8B+, Quoi de Neuf (Acte 2), ~8B, Chaos, ~8B, and Big Dragon (after break), ~8B. Given the location of some of those problems, I wouldn't be surprised if we'll see Trip hop, ~8C, and  l'intégrale du toît d'Orsay, ~8B/C, on his 27crags-ticklist sooner rather than later.

Interestingly enough, Griffin has begun giving some of his ascents decimal grades instead of calling them "soft" or "hard". An 8B on the harder side of the spectrum is hence given 13,75 i.e almost V14 (8B+) wheras a low end 8B+ gets 14.0 and so on. At least that's my interpretation of what he is doing.
