Derbyshire Police are appealing for information following an act of vandalism at the popular climbing venue Black Rocks, near Cromford in the Peak District. The culprits have defaced rock close to the High Peak Trail with graffiti consisting of obscenities, name tags and symbols using bright spray paint.
The vandalism is believed to have taken place on or around the 22nd of September and is the latest of multiple incidents involving defacement around the Peak District. Black Rocks has attracted similar cases of antisocial behaviour in the past, including an attack on climbers by a group of youths in July last year. (UKC News Report.)
