Jernej Kruder, who made the second ascent of Es Pontas in mid November, has kept his good form. Recently he made the first ascent of a long standing project to the right of Klem Loskot's Emotional landscapes, ~8C, at Maltatal in southern Austria.

Weighing in around ~8B+, the new one, Hide and sick, is not quite as hard as Emotional landscapes, but not far from it.

3 hours one way, about 5 hours of climbing and another 3 hours driving back home. This is how some of my last days in Maltatal looked like. Had a few good days in the past, but today it was different. Despite warmer temperatures I managed to finish one of my projects on the Emotional landscapes block... For a great finish of the day, I completed the sit start of Air, 8B.
