For the last couple of years, Alex has focused on her outdoor climbing and thus hasn't competed on the World cup circuit, with the exception of the Vail competition last year.

She had spinal fusion surgery shortly after the competition and after extensive rehab training she managed to come back and is now perhaps stronger than ever before.
June 9-10 she'll back in Vail for her revange. Needless to say it will be very interesting to see how it goes.
