New Line in Kishtwar Himalaya by Hawthorn, Silvestre & GrahamNewsflash

A team of young British alpinists consisting of Uisdean Hawthorn, Ben Silvestre and Pete Graham have just arrived in Manali after establishing a new 1400m line up Arjuna South West Pillar (6100m) in the Indian Kishtwar Himalaya. The trio took four and a half days to ascend and descend the pillar.

This was the team's first trip to the Indian Himalaya, having amassed alpine experience together in the European Alps, Patagonia and Canada in recent years.
