Banff Mountain Book Festival Shortlist 2018

A handful of books and writing by British authors and publishers have made the shortlist in the prestigious Banff Mountain Book Competition, which is part of the annual Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival in Alberta, Canada.

Prominent British climbing writers Nick Bullock, Andy Kirkpatrick and Ed Douglas are amongst the shortlisted authors. The 2018 Jury consists of Ian Welsted, Paula Wright and Larry Stanier.

Grand Prize – The Phyllis and Don Munday Award

The shortlist of category award winners eligible for the Grand Prize will be announced in mid-October.

The Grand Prize will be announced Thursday, 1st November, 2018 at Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival and category awards will be presented to winning authors.
