Marketing/Website Assistant
DMM have a vacancy for a Marketing/Website Assistant to support the marketing team in Llanberis. The Marketing/Website Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the company websites, creating written content to accompany internal and external communications, maximising product visibility in the media and facilitating inter-departmental communication. This role would suit a meticulous, highly organised team player with strong copywriting skills and communication skills.

Key Tasks

  • Create focused and engaging product copy to support marketing campaigns in line with in-house writing style guidelines
  • Develop and maintain website content for the DMM websites using SEO guidelines to maximise search engine rankings
  • Establish and develop relationships with media, press, gear reviewers, film production companies and influencers to secure positive product placement and gear testing reviews
  • Proactively seek new and creative opportunities to maximise the brand exposure and coverage through a range of channels
  • Manage the gear review calendar and follow up schedule, and ensure samples are dispatched on time to maximise product placement opportunities
  • Compile and distribute press releases
  • Develop close relationships with all internal teams to facilitate internal communication on marketing activities

  • Seek quality content for internal and external newsletters and communications
  • Create and deliver engaging newsletter content to meet the publishing schedule deadlines and targets
  • Facilitate factory tours in line with company procedure and Health & Safety policy
  • Assist the marketing team in delivering projects
  • Other duties as required


Essential Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Work on own initiative, pro-active and self-motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships
  • Strong team player
  • Knowledge of DMM products and their technical application in Climbing, Work at Height or Tree Care industries
  • Good level of computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets, and email


Desirable

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
  • Website and database administration
  • Customer Service experience
  • An understanding of SEO


Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
