Nevis Technology's market-leading Elements product measures offshore weather around the world. We are seeking a versatile full-stack software developer to implement innovative new features within Elements. You must be a Typescript and React expert, with the confidence to make high-level architectural decisions. A solid knowledge of AWS and Java are also highly advantageous. You should be comfortable speaking directly to clients to demonstrate our technology, understand their requirements and propose sensible solutions.

Initially you will be responsible for most of our software development activity, whilst acting as a mentor to our current software engineer. You will be supported by our two founding software directors who built our whole codebase but are gradually stepping back from day- to-day programming to focus on our broader strategy. Nevis is growing rapidly and over the next few years we hope that you will be leading a small team of developers.

If you have somewhere quiet to focus, then we will consider candidates who want to work remotely from anywhere in Europe. Alternatively join our growing engineering team in Blackburn, Aberdeenshire, or work at our mountain office in Chamonix, France. If you want to work in France then you must be allowed to do so (EU passport, French residence permit, etc.)
