We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Climbing Instructors to join the team at Ford Castle, our newest activity centre, to lead exciting off centre climbing sessions.

PGL's team are central to our success, and you will play a huge part in giving our guests a holiday to remember. By joining Team PGL you will actively contribute to our goal of enriching the lives of our young guests.

Our Climbing Instructor role is for qualified instructors who have passion for climbing activities and can provide effective instruction, leadership, support, and encouragement to a group of guests.

As a Climbing Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering a safe, engaging, and fun customer experience focused primarily on a natural crag climbing environment. You will take responsibility for the use of equipment and liaising with party leaders and guests to ensure expectations and standards are met.

In addition, you will also support Activity Instructors in the team, helping them to deliver the same safe, high quality and enriching experience expected by our guests by monitoring climbing delivery and offering individual guidance to Instructors.
Outside of climbing activities, you will also have the opportunity to apply your sills across other activities offered by the centre. You will take care of guests' needs, including daily organisation, pastoral care and evening entertainment, ensuring guests have a positive experience from arrival until the end of their PGL experience.

What we are looking for
A successful candidate will hold the MTUK Rock Climbing Instructor qualification, relevant NGB qualifications, alongside a First Aid qualification. Alongside this, you will be expected to demonstrates effective communication, organisational and teamwork skills. Previous experience working with children and/or young adults is desirable
