Why isn't the salary listed in the advert?

19 Aug, 2022

I would guess they don't want their existing structural designers to know what they could be getting...

24 Aug, 2022

Previously they have listed around £25k salary, probably wise to not list a salary after the backlash serious climbing/rockcity got for there engineer role haha

24 Aug, 2022

25k salary is about £12 an hour, right? Compared to a minimum wage of £9.50 I wonder whether uni is even worth bothering with any more given the massive debt a typical student will rack up.

24 Aug, 2022

A capable engineer can earn around £40k per year with about 5 years experience if they can get their ducks lined up right so uni probably is worthwhile if you want an engineering job, although if you're up for doing a degree part time a degree apprenticeship is a more cost effective route.
